Peter Walsh AO
Peter Walsh AO was a distinguished minister and a substantive political figure in our national life.
Peter Walsh served as a minister in the Hawke Government from 1983 to 1990 including five and a half years as Minister for Finance.
He is remembered as one of the architects of Australia’s era of economic reform.
On behalf of the Coalition, I extend our sympathies to his wife, Rosalie and his family.
