I am pleased to announce the reappointment of Dr Ken Henry as Secretary of the Department of the Treasury.

Having received a report from the Secretary of my Department, as required by legislation, I have reappointed Dr Henry for a term of five years commencing on 27 April 2006.

I express my continuing appreciation of Dr Henry's contribution to this important Department.
