Labor Condemned on its economic credentials

Access Economics, Labor's own economic adviser, has exposed the threat to Australia's economy from Mr Latham's industrial relations policy.

The Access Economics Paper reveals that Labor's policy of re-regulating the workplace would put at jeopardy Australia's continuing economic growth.

It concludes that "taken collectively... the ALP workplace relations platform measures could reinforce one another in terms of their negative impacts on productivity, wages, on-costs and employment."

Over the past eight and a half years, the Coalition has worked hard to restore Australia's economic prosperity and ensure that Australians benefit from higher incomes and improved standards of living.

Sound economic management cannot be taken for granted. Today's Access Economics report is a stark reminder of the risks to our future national wellbeing from the economic management of a Latham/Crean Labor Government.
