NEW CHAIRMAN OF ART ADVISORY BOARD
Statement by the Prime Minister, Mr John Gorton
I have agreed to a request by Sir Daryl Lindsay, made
some iu. e ago, that he be permitted to step down as Chairman of
the Commone alth Art Advisory Board. He wishes to concentrate
his energies as Chairman of the Interim Council of the Australian
National Gallery, but has agreed to continue to serve as a member
of the Board.
