Labor's Distortions
Mr Crean's claim today that families earning more than $32,300 will be denied access to bulk-billing under the Government's Medicare assistance package is completely false. As is the case now a person on any level of income will be entitled to access bulk-billing.
It is a measure of the Opposition Leader's desperation that this naked distortion of the truth was built upon a simple statement of fact by me that a family with two children under current arrangements was entitled to a healthcare card if their income did not exceed $32,300 per year.
