VISIT TO THE UNITED STATES BY THE PRIME MINISTER,
THE RIGHT HON U FXLE J. G. GORTON, M. P.
At the invitation of President Johnson, the Prime
Minister, the Right Honourable J. G. Gorton, M. P. will visit the
United States next month.
The Prime Minister will leave Australia on 23rd May
and will be received by the President on his arrival in Washington DC
on 27th May. Mr Gorton will remain in Washington until Wednesday
morning, 29th May.
The President has advised the Prime Minister that
this will give time for good personal talks as well as for the
conversations which the Prime Minister will have with the President's
colleagues. Further details of Mr Gorton' s itinerary, which will
include a visit to New York City, will be available later.
