A-. ppointment of a New Member
Statement by the Prime Minister, Mr John Gorton
The Prime Minister announced today that the Governor
General had appointed Dr Ursula Hoff C%-' urator of Prints and
Drawings at the National Gallery of Victoria, as a member of the
Council of the National Library of Australia.
Dr Hoff, who is also a member of the Australian
Humanities Research Council, replaces Mrs Kathleen Fitzpatrick
who has resigned from the Council for personal reasons.
The Prime Minister expressed his pleasure at Dr.
Hoff's appointment. Her knowledge and experience will be of immense
assistance In the Library Council.
