R. MICEWEN TO VISIT RUMANIA
Statement by the Prime Minister, Mr. Harold Holt.
Following his discussion in London and Geneva
on the progress of the Kennedy Round tariff negotiations,
the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Trade and
Industry, Mir. McEwen, will pay a brief visit to Rumania
early in May.
Mr. McEwven has been invited to visit Rumania by
the Rumanian 1inister for Foreign Trade, Mr. Gheorghe Cioara,
to discu3s the development of closer trade and cconomie
relations between Australia and Rumania. These
discussions could lead to the conclusion of a trade
