Reappointment of Departmental Secretaries

I am pleased to announce four reappointments to positions of Secretaries of Departments. The reappointments are:

* Mr David Borthwick as Secretary of the Department of the Environment and Heritage;
* Dr Peter Boxall as Secretary of the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations;
* Mr Mark Paterson as Secretary of the Department of Industry, Tourism and Resources; and
* Dr Ian Watt as Secretary of the Department of Finance and Administration.

I have reappointed the four Secretaries for terms of three years commencing on 18 January 2007 for Dr Boxall, Mr Paterson and Dr Watt and on 11 March 2007 for Mr Borthwick.

I express my continuing appreciation of all four Secretaries' contributions to their respective Departments.
