His Royal Highness, the Duke of Edinburgh, has been
pleased to accept the following itinerary for his forthcoming visit to
Australia from 1st to 10th March

All internal air journeys will be by Royal Australian Air
Force aircraft. The Duke of Edinburgh's visit is primarily in connection
with the preliminary arrangements for his study conference which will
take place in Australia in May, 1968. He will have meetings with conference
organisers in Melbourne and Sydney. In Melbourne they will take place
on Friday 3rd and Tuesday, 7th March and in Sydney on Thursday, 9th March.
Consultations will now take plac-e with the State Governments
of New South Wales, Victoria and Tasmania to prepare in draft form a
programme of engagements for those days when His Royal Highness is not
participating in study confe.-cence discussions. An announcement of these
details will be made after the proposals have been out to His Royal
Highness and accepted.
