PRIME MINISTER'S MOVEMENTS
The Prime Minister is returning to Melbourne at
lunch time today and will be working from his Melbourne office for
the rest of the week. Among other things, he will be preparing for his New
Zealand visit, ( he leaves for Wellington on Thursday week, 2nd February)
and on Thursday of this week, he will speak at an Australia Day luncheon
in Melbourne. Mr. Holt plans to spend the long weekend at Portsea
and will then return to Canberra. There will be Cabinet on the Wednesday
( 1st February) and if time permits, I will try to arrange a Heads of
Service briefing for the end of that day.
The PM is due to leave for New Zealand on the following
morning. Press Secretary I will be in Melbourne until Thursday evening when I
will return to Canberra for the weekend.
