QUEENSILAND ELECTION RESULT
Comment by the Prime Minister, Mr, Harold Holt
I warmly congratulate Mr. Nicklin, Mr. Chalk and
their colleagues of the coalition team on their fully-deserved
vote of ccnfidence. it was a personal triumph for IVMr. Nicklin to hold
his large majority intact after nine years of leadership.
The Coalition u'overnment has launched Queensland
on a programme of vigorous development. We look forward to
a continuing Commonwealth/ State collaboration.
