INDONESIA’S AGREEMENT WITH THE IMF
I welcome the agreement announced today between Indonesia and the
IMF on a strengthened package of reforms to restore market confidence
in Indonesia.
By signing the Letter of Intent with IMF Managing Director, Mr Camdessus,
President Soeharto has demonstrated his personal commitment to this
economic programme.
Full and timely implementation is fundamental to Indonesia's
strengthened economic programme.
