For many, many years Alan McGilvray was the voice of cricket coverage in our nation.
He will be well remembered by millions of sports followers, and particularly cricket fans, all around the world.
The quality, the accuracy and the integrity of his radio coverage of cricket will live in the memories of all those who follow and love the game so much.
